Hector-Andree Pereyra
Hector-Andreé Pereyra (he/him/él) is the proud son of immigrant parents who came to the United States from Lima, Peru. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of La Verne in 2023. As a student, Hector assisted in the instruction of Constitutional Law and worked on his award winning thesis that examined fractures in LGBTQ+ activism and the ideas of gender and sex that caused them. He also interned for city representatives and the California State Senate. This experience led him to become a campaign manager for a California State Assembly race. His work has always highlighted his commitment to justice and equity for all, and radical solutions that fight against oppression starting at its root causes.
