The Emergency Response Team coordinates local networks of volunteers around the Inland Empire to operate a 24 hour hotline, respond immediately to immigration raids and operatives, document violations of rights and due process, and provide legal and humanitarian help to affected families. Responding rapidly to any operative, raid or action on the part of immigration authorities (be it ICE or Border Patrol, CBP), is also a means raise consciousness on the inhumanity of deportations and violations of rights and due process.
If you are interested in getting involved in this work, please let us know. Each volunteer forming part of the emergency response teams would pass through a training process and would have specific responsibilities according to their individual capacity.
